I agree with ^, or maybe even a little less. Any moving parts in purple and stationary parts in black.

Re: laying frame with PB trailing arms
Everything looks great, but I am confused. Why did you Z the frame AND do a Dropmember?
|
Re: laying frame with PB trailing arms
the previous owner Zed the frame, i just finished it and made it stronger. im runing 24inch wheels so the Z will allow it to lay. the dropmember alone allows u to lay 29 1/2 inch tire combo, 24's are around 31 1/2

Re: laying frame with PB trailing arms
Nice progress! Have you picked a wheel yet?
|
Re: laying frame with PB trailing arms
i did purchase a set of 24in asanti wheels, unfortunately they where stolen out of my garage a few weeks ago. i might be getting them back , a detective called saying they might know a shop trying to sell them.

Got a visit from the brown truck today....air management I scored on eBay for 600. 2 vair 480s, 8 xtreme 350 valves, 2 dual gages, 9 button switch box, air tank and all the hoses and fittings.... now I need time to install them. Still gathering parts, brakes are next.

Still gathering parts to get this project going. I was able to get a new ride tech level pro and a set of c6 z06 brakes. I got the rear brackets from 87chevy and the front modified dropped spindles from way2lo2. Also got the calipers rotors and pads from way2lo2. Here's a couple of pics, I hope to get some time to work on it soon.

Re: laying frame with PB trailing arms
Are those the wheels that were stolen? Looks good man!
|
Re: laying frame with PB trailing arms
Thanks guys. Unfortunately the wheels that were stolen where never recovered. Those are some 3 piece 22's I got for now.
I have a question, do u guys think that 3 gallon tank on the level pro is enough? I wont be playing with the bags much but I have a 5 gallon and two vair 480 that I could use. Also if I use the additional compressors and thank can I just plum then on the other feed port of the manifold? Thanks Posted via Mobile Device |
Re: laying frame with PB trailing arms
well, my 5 gallon airs my truck up and down once, so i would imagine a 3 gallon wouldnt be too ideal. i would plumb them together..if its possible.
|
Re: laying frame with PB trailing arms
the 3 gallon will not be enough... I recommend the 5 gal. No you can not use the addtional compressors with the e3 they draw to many amps and will blow the nods inside the ECU. The e3 is designed to work with no more than dual thomas 327 compressors or a single viair 400

Thanks for the reply and the offer. I already purchased the level pro, I found it on Craigslist for a good price (in my opinion)LOL. I don't want to wire the compressors into the system, I want to wire them on their own and just supply air to the system. Can this be done? I'm sure i would have to get a 150 psi pressure switch. Thanks in advance. Posted via Mobile Device |
Re: laying frame with PB trailing arms
im pretty sure you can run the wire from the controller that usually goes to the compressor, and put 2 relays their so you dont pop the ecu.
