You have been on the hunt a good while i see, my question is did gm ever make the lock knobs in green? i have my dads 69 it is green but not a cst, i looked it has black knobs.what years and option levels were they used in..when and if you find yours i might take up your quest, lol

It is my understanding that on CST trucks the knobs matched the interior color, otherwise they were black. Eventually I'll find a set or else I'll find my original ones.

My green 4x4 did not have green knobs and it is a super. Knobs were black. Black super had black knobs, gold 68 has black knobs as well and they were unmolested until they arrived on scene as far as interior parts.

I painted ours to match. The ones that came with the truck were black.

I have seen a few trucks in my day and don't recall any green knobs. Can anyone verify they were made?

I might be wrong but I am 90% sure that my CST had green door knobs. It's been so long scince I saw the door knobs that I am starting to question myself. :lol:

No luck...I am going down to the body shop the end of this month and they have all my parts to my truck stored in one location. I am going to pick up the parts and go through the boxes and look for them. I might be wrong and they were black and not green like I thought. I shall soon see. :metal:

Colorbond dye, may be best way to go. I wondered about dark olive green kbobs too, to match my interior. I have black knobs in mine
