Re: 1964 gmc 1000
I like your piston shifter grip. :metal: Did you buy that or make it?
I'm also thinking of upgrading to a 4 barrel. A buddy of mine has an intake just laying there  seems almost a shame to waste it. I wish I could help you with body drop answers but I'm clueless when it comes to that stuff, sorry. |
Re: 1964 gmc 1000
i made the shifter nob its a piston out of a snowmobile motor and then i painted it with the checkers (only screwed that up 3 times lol)

Re: 1964 gmc 1000
Looks like your getting 'er done :) Which is more than I can say. I'm on hold building up cash for parts...who woulda thought re-building a 283 would be so expensive! :dohh:
Did you do all that welding yourself? |
Re: 1964 gmc 1000
yeah i have welded and fabricated everything my self i have had no help with anything actually ive done everything alone right down to setting up and mounting the bed, hood and doors but i cant say i would have it any other way i hate working with other people especially on some thing im going to call mine!

Re: 1964 gmc 1000
 Yeah I hear ya. I need my friends to help me out though. I'm mostly learning as I go and having their help shortens the learning curve quite a bit :)
Anyway you have a lot to be proud of, your truck is slick :metal: |
