Re: Tre5 Customs roadster blazer project

mounted the gas tank (unfinished gas tank), mounted the shocks using the porterbuilt shocks mounts that I modified to fit this frame, and seeing if I can get this Accuair stuff working by the show. The mounts for the air tank, compressors, and battery are all temporary.

i have also done tech articles and owned other feature trucks so i have developed relationships with good companies.

just read the articles wow kat!! Nice work on both trucks

I won't use anything else! The Kinetiks are simply the best battery out there. If you compare them to an optima or regular battery they blow them away. For just about the same size (kinetiks are a tad taller) you get double the power and reserve.

For sure, I use the HC1800 or the KR2412. They are the exact same battery, just labeled differently and are different colors.

I'm the guy that bought the Top off the Roadster Blazer.

Nice work. The fenders look great.

Re: Tre5 Customs roadster blazer project

Sides of the tubs... I put a piece of 1/4" round on the edge of the piece and it hangs down lower than the floor Should make for a nice looking inner fender well once all body worked.

Re: Tre5 Customs roadster blazer project

Other side is done, and the small holes filled. Also made some more progress on the floor framing. I am now waiting on the gas filler so I can run the tube to the tank. Also waiting in some more Accuair goodies to show up so I can reinforce the floor in the appropriate areas. And finally waiting on the sheetmetal from Grant. Front end progress tomorrow!
