Just the frame, I bought a SWB parts truck that had a cab fire. I used the bed, exhaust, and driveshaft, then sold all the pieces including my long bed and made $. Funny story, I have owned this truck for years and one day a neighbor stopped by and said " Man you just keep going through these old trucks. What is this like 4 or 5 now?" He was talking about the same truck, it just kept changing. LOL

Here are my before pics...

I have mainly be focusing on getting the truck running dependably. I'll be starting on the body work in a few weeks. I want to return it to the original color and factory looks. Its a camper special model, and I want to use it to pull a camper (in the near future).

That before picture is from a car lot right over the bridge in Longview, right? I thought your truck looked familiar when I saw it in another thread! I drove by that car lot a couple times back in the day, I remember seeing your truck there and wishing I could snag it!!

I agree that it was nice to start with, but you are just dead wrong when you say there isn't an "amazing difference between before and after".

Yeah, I bought it there and also worked there until it went out of business.

They are sitting in the garage with the truck. I have a brand new set of 275/50 and 295/50 BFG T/A's for them. Appliance Fine wires are hard to find. If someone wanted to somehow re-chrome them, I do have a second set that my dad and I used for rollers.

here is my 77 short bed.... 1st pic is when i went to pick it up it had no interior no wheels no motor no tranny 2nd and 3rd pics is where the truck stand now after a newer frond end swap and body drop still more work to do.....
