cool, let us know where you find the 4" for the front...I've been told 3" is the most you can do and are actually sold....I know hotchkis says 4" online but then they actually sell you a spindle w/ a drop spring according to others on here....

That's a great looking truck and those Vette poverty caps fit it very well. It'll look awesome once lowered on those.

well if it ends up 3'' or 4'' in front that will be fine , just so its lowered he will be happy , i'm sure at a later date he will buy disks and spindles ,,,

i have 3 inch drop springs on mine and fabricated 4 inch hangers for my rear drop. i am going to have to find an underslung rear end or fab my existing one to get the remaining drop i want. 4 inches on the shackles make them hit my bed, but i have an 88, so you may want to check and double check the clearance

That's a good looking 68. It's the same color combo 68 that my girlfriend drove to school back then. It's the truck that caught my attention and never left. Hers was the 327 and auto. That truck is long gone but I kept the girl. It's been 41 years now.
Just the initial cleanup helped your truck a lot. It's only getting better.
Enjoy the time with the son. Once he hits the streets you probably won't see him much anymore. :lol: Oh and buy him some britches will ya...:lol:

I know what you mean. It took me a while to find mine and it cost me $4000 but it is a driver and the po replaced the rockers.
