Here's some more progress on the truck cab. It's slowly coming along.

Wow! That cab turned out really sharp. Looks like they got those new doors to fit really well.

The doors are almost there. They still need a little bit more work but overall they fit really nice. They were definitely the most difficult part of the cab.

The cab work is about 99% done. Finally got the cab sitting on the frame again. The one piece window kit is finally in. The welds just need to be cleaned up but they are in and 100% functional. The doors were such a pain to get right. Had to heat them and all kinds of extra work to get the spacing right. Now it's time for assembly of the entire front and final alignment of the doors and front fenders.

After taking a little break on the truck work has started again. The front assembly is taking shape. It's finally starting to look like a truck.

Things have been going well with the truck. A lot of misc fab work and body work has taken place. We had to redo the transmission mount because it was causing the motor to be off center. Now everything is lined up and the radiator looks good installed. Things are slowly getting done but it's getting there.

We have been working to get the inner fenders and other misc things smoothed out. We have been trying to get more fab work done. It's one of those things you can't rush. A lot of the work isn't really noticeable but it's things that need to be done.

We have also been getting the suspension set. We had to change some things around to get the height correct. Also while mounting the brakes on the frame we ran into some issues which caused us to redo the transmission mount. It seems like a lot of random things that burn a bunch of time.

I also ordered my wheels. I ordered Raceline Burst 5's. I'm going to be running 20 x 8.5 in the front and 20 x 10 in the rear. I have to tub the rear to accommodate the wheels but it should't be anything crazy. I'm hoping to finish all of the fab work within the next month so we can tear it down and hopefully get some paint on it soon.

We've been working to get the suspension set so we used a set of 22 inch wheels to get the measurements and mounts correct. I know this seems odd since I'm running 20 inch wheels but these wheels are the same overall height and width that mine will be. The rear wheels are going to be tubbed so that won't be an issue. The main thing was getting the height of the truck correct and to go ahead and make any adjustments now while we're waiting for my wheels to come in. I think it looks pretty good right now. I can't wait to get the new wheels on it. I think the ride height will be just right.

I haven't got too much more done on the truck. Just some minor fabrication. I had an issue ordering my wheels but I finally got that taken care of. I also ordered the matching steering wheel from Raceline to go with the Burst 5 wheels.

On the bright side the UPS man came today and dropped off some goodies. I got in my wood kit for the bed floor plus the stainless strips to go along with it. While I was at it I ordered up an Accu Air Kit. I got the 5 Gallon tank, chrome VIAIR 100% Duty Compressor, e level kit with the wifi receiver so I can control it from my iPhone app and shockwave bags (which haven't came in yet).

The steering is going to be tight. I had to run a couple of DD joints to get the steering to clear my headers and mounts. I will try and get some close up pics for you.
