It is a slow project as I am building it as I get money, however income tax check arrived last week so that has gave it a boost for a while.

I haven't started a buildthread on here yet, I want to get alittle farther on it.

Kevin

Sounds like it should start movin right along with the tax boost, if you haven't already you should check out the northwest c10's Facebook page

Re: 67 SWB Custom "Jane" Piece by Piece project

A couple of small updates, a few days ago I flipped the trailing arm brackets to correct the pinion angle. Not only did it fix the angle but it also gave me just enough clearance so that the ECE track bar actually fits!! So that will save me a couple bucks by not having to buy a different bar. Also today I stopped by member MJs69CST's place to pick up a few parts he was recycling, parts include all the wood bed floor supports, set of rear wheel tubs, and a pair of 3 gallon air tanks! Finally I mocked up my drive line and everything lined up great pics to come :)

Lol... I noticed the Hyundai Veloster in your first pic.....I am a Sup. at the Hynd/Kia port here in GA and see those things by the thousands. It was just cool to see it pop up in a pic on here.

Nice build!

Ya it gets me from A to B at a minimum of 30mpg. Our other car is a 2012 Mazda speed 3, that car is easy to get tickets. I wish I had a c10 daily driver but that's probably because I'm obsessed with these trucks lol

I plan to wire wheel the wood floor supports then coating with POR15. I had to notch the shock crossmember to clear the differential at full dump, but the bed will cover that :chevy:

Score on the wood bed cross sills. I am still in need of a rear and I'll be good to go. Wood beds the ONLY way to go IMO. Nice work, your leaps ahead of me now

Finally fixed a leak on one of my front bags. Now ill I need to do to complete the chassis is rear brake rebuild, run brake lines, and front sway bar. I've also been working on my firewall so I can body work and paint the area before I reinstall the cab. Also been cleaning up the motor.

Thanks Scott, no I've actually had these sitting on a shelf for a couple years waiting to be cleaned up.

I have also serviced the transmission and rear diff as well as painted the diff in por 15. First time using por15 and I gotta say it worked awesome!

Decided to scrap my coils and put in some bags. Really wish I had the money for some control arms. I think with an in frame notch I should sit pretty level with cups and plates on the stock control arms
