Yelmer, that is off the ownership,I will have to check it against the plate on truck could be an error(truck is away in winter storage) or as aerotruk63 brought up could it be because it is Canadian truck

that truck was built at fremont ca in oct 1965 it was built 11 trucks after mine

Our Canadian trucks are totally different vin structures.
Do some searching on the board and you can find how to decode your vin.

I do not have a vin breakdown on the canada trucks . If i find some info i will let you know . I assume that they were exported to canada and may use a diffrent tag? Maybe the vin number would fit into the us numbered units . It should have model number code ,year code ,plant code than 6 number serial number the order might be diffrent?

More interesting than the first 66 built is the last 66 built (at least to me). What was that final s/n Yelmer? I think you've already found a couple pretty close to it, right?
