The tires are Interco Super Swamper 34 x 16 x 10.5.
The spare and all the " original rims" have clips on them?

Re: New member, K20

I posted awhile back that my battery would die if I turned the headlights on after driving for about 30-40 min. I went back and pulled all the plow wiring out from the headlights and re grounded the lights, took the family for a drive, turned on the headlights and bam the volt gauge drops! Turned on the heater and bam, the gauge drops all the way! Made it home with lights almost completely gone, backed into the garage, turned it off and of course no juice to start. I have replaced the alt and voltage regulator, but I am wondering if the alt is no good? Could my belt have anything to do with this? I fabed my own power steering bracket and am running a double pulley on the alt to the steering pump if this means anything. Thanks for the help.

The reason all the neighbor hood kids wanna ride in "Big Blue" is cause its a chevy! LOL! Bring them up right! HAHAHAHA!!! Nice truck! My next project is gonna be a 4X4. In my experience a better Alternator to get would be an internally regulated one wire alternator. Wire it straight to the battery and you'll have no issue. Here is a picture of mine....

Re: New member, K20

That would be sweet but my wife would kill me if I spend another dime on my "mistress." I went down to the shop that I purchased my alternator from and ran a test on it and showed it was not working. Took it off, brought it back and it was fried, which the shop said it was from a bad regulator or battery, but the shop replaced it for free! The shop is called Action alternator and generator, if any Utah board members need a replacement part, they were very helpful.
