I could be busy for months working on trucks at your place! With as many as you have and if your wife is like mine, I would hate to see her shoe, purse and Victoria Secret bill!

yote1234,

I found this '66 Crew Cab in Wickenburg, Arizona. There is another Crew Cab in the area from Clarkdale only one mile from Cottonwood the guy that owns it is a member here 65crewcab. I have talked with him several times about his Crew Cab he did most of the work himself including installing a 5.9 Cummins and an Allison automatic transmission. I think it is pretty awesome having two of these rare trucks so close to each other in the Verde Valley. See 65crewcab's pictures below.

when you get around to it, I would like to see the measurements of the wheelbase, the rear door, and the bed side... also good pics of the center hinge pillar , front of the rear door (in the jamb) and the hinges!
thanks for all the pics so far!

Long bed or short bed. Big back window or small back window. 4 speed, 3 speed or automatic?

this may sound crazy but what about a crewcab meets suburban=4door suburban

I would love to find one like that one day. Lucky you! It looks like all that truck needs is a compound and polish and it will clean up nice. Good find!

So it's a Shlong bed? I like it...very cool truck!

Got some measurements for you, The wheelbase is 139'' The rear door is 32 1/4'' The front of the bed is 15'' to the beginning of the wheel opening, The cab was stretched 34 1/4''. It looks like the rear of the center pillar was all hand made from the Stageway Coach Company. Here are some pictures you requested.

Got my receiver hitch installed, removed fuel tank from bed and plumbed fuel line back to main fuel tank. Installed some Rally Wheels with 235/75R15 tires off another one of my trucks to see what it would look like. I think I am going to go with a little wider and taller tire like a 265/70R15 tire and some Chevy Bowtie center caps. Here are some pictures before a bath and after.

Thanks Guy's,

It seems forever for days off from work to roll around. Many thoughts cross my mind in that time planning on what to do next. Work seems to be getting in the way of a Man and his Truck.

Thanks, it only took me 29 years to find it. ;)

Put some new shoes on this weekend. Went with P255/70R15 Cooper Cobras on Chevy Rally's with the Bowtie center caps, looks a lot better than a P235/75R15.

Thank you, I hope to keep working on it every chance I get. It sure doesn't look like the same truck I towed home a month ago.

I have waxed the drivers side of it and it does seem to shine but needs a lot more elbow grease. Not quite sure what I want to do with the paint yet. For now I want to keep polishing on it, replace front bumper, grill, reupholster seats as close as I can back to original and clean up all the wiring that the original owner added numerous aftermarket crap. I want to take it to a few local car shows and Dino's Pre-Show Get Down before I do anything surprising to it.

I actually gave up and was scrambling to get down to Wickenburg, Arizona when it was posted on craigslist to get a crack at purchasing this.

Thanks D, I knew you would have an eye on this being that it was just a hop, skip and a jump for you to Wickenburg. Heck yes! It's always a good time down there. I have it marked on my calendar, I'm planning on bringing the '66 Crew.
