I like your sway bar location.

Thanks. It made sense for this application on the '75 frame and the diff brackets. One bracket for coilover mounts, bars, and swaybar.

are yall planning on making a crossmember with rack and pinion I love the ridetech but truth be told I dont like having to use the unisteer setup if I used the ridetech.. its the only reason I haven't pulled the trigger on the coilover kit yet..so im patiently waiting..

Not trying to steal this thread from Ridetech, but you should check out PorterBuilt. I am currently installing their full front and rear kit in my 76. The kit comes with Ridetech Coilovers front and rear.

The PorterBuilt parts are some very well built parts! I used a PB Dropmember on of my C-10 builds a few years back. You can get Ridetech Q-series shocks or Ridetech Coilovers on any of their suspension kits.

Here is a question for you, does Ridetch make Fox Shocks or does Fox make Ridetech? I was under the impression that they were 2 separate companies. My Ridetech Coilovers have Fox logos on them.

Great Question! Fox builds our shock cartridges. Fox builds world class monotube shocks. We make the mounts, determine valve codes and select internal components. We also test and tune each application. When you buy a Ridetech shock, you buy a service that provides an application specific, painstakingly tested and tuned Fox shock.

So I guess the best answer is both!

I know this is an older posting, but I just finished my 1971 GMC with the ridetec coil overs and the Rack and Pinion for No Limit Engineering. played a bit on alignment but it handles great.

Are parts available separately?

Re: RIDETECH Coilovers on a 73-87

The coil over kit and coil overs themselves are separate. I got them from Jegs:gmc2: The rack and pinion is totally separate. I ordered it directly from No Limit Engineering. The parts to get the steering wheel to the rack I got through Summit, only because they were quick.
