Picked up some parts today for really cheap today.
-Two front fenders with emblems(pretty good shape) $50 -Factory radio $10 -both new rockers $50 -clutch (guy didn't need it) free -Some dash knobs free -various other parts and pieces. I'll upload some pics later Today is the start of a 4 day long weekend and I plan on getting lots done:chevy: |

Looking good, I see the Infamous green paint under that orange, they must have painted over half of these trucks built that green..

Welded in the inner fender that I made and did some other body work. Once I get my rocker in and grind down some of the welds, it will look like new:chevy:. I also have plans to soon make some custom door sill plates.

Re: A 15 year old's project. Rusty 62 stepside
Good job on the inner rocker. Made it yourself and saved some money. :metal:

Cut the rib off of the bondo covered fender and welded it on to the red gmc fender that I got. Also welded on the bottom corner patch panel. The picture looks bad but it is all squared up and has the right curve to it. A little grinding smooth and it will look like new. Looks like I have a new Franken fender:chevy:

Decided to try some simulated wood grain for the first time on the ash tray handle to match the radio knobs. Turned out pretty nice and I may do it on other pieces.

Spent hours wire wheeling and heating up my front bumper and bashing it with a hammer. Probably pissed off all my neighbors but at least it's perfectly straight now. Also welded up all the holes that someone had drilled in it.
