Nice to see some of you are somewhat local to me. I'm new and am looking around for my first truck to build. I'm sorry to hijack, but can y'all recommend me some shops that might help me with my future build? Upholstery, sheet metal, paint, etc... anything.

Thanks and keep up, 77Chris. Glad to see you made out ok through that nasty motorcycle accident.

thanks!!! ya for shops around here there are quite a few that are decently priced and wont try to rip you off...

I'd post the question (with pictures of the wiring) in the electrical forum. There's some very knowledgeable guys that hang out in there to help people in these situations... might take more than a few hours for a response though....so be patient ;)

nah...i called them and actually got some pretty good info out of them....

Glad you're getting somewhere on the wiring. And as always thanks for all the pics! Those door panels are awesome!

Definitely a good idea. Post it in the electrical forum...Link it here when you post it. I'll check it out and recommend it as an faq to help others in the same situation. Thanks.

Looks like you're getting a handle on the spaghetti ;)

ya i only have a few things left under the hood...horn, starter, temp sensor, a/c compressors and binary switch for a/c, electric fans, battery of course(still havent bought one yet) and as soon as i get the grille and front signals on i'll have to do the wiring for the dual filament bulbs i have to get....i think thats it for the front...

under the dash, not a bunch...finish the a/c wiring, steering column, cig lighter, radio(gotta get the one i want first, so itll be a while-last on my list) One thing thats gonna kick my ass is the doors...getting power to them for the windows and as soon as i get them, door poppers... fan relays, gotta hook up the tach wires to the instrument cluster, and figure out the wiring for the charging system...and running the oil pressure line from the back of the block to the cluster

The rear harness is done except for actually hooking up the lights for the signals, stop and reverse........
