Re: Project 78 High Sierra
Just go look or cubbers build thread... We didnt get it put in today but we did get his inline 6 removed, a lot of cleaning done, and then engine is near ready....
I also managed to get home shine a spot light on my truck and remove the trim and do a little sanding on the back of the cab.... I plan to get some sand paper tomorrow for my orbital because hand sanding bondo sucks!! lol |
Re: Project 78 High Sierra
Alright got to go check it out, and honestly I think hand sanding sucks even doing it on regular paint an electric sander is waaaay better!! That's awesome you were able to sand the back of the cab, sounds like a nice productive day today!

So I went hard to work starting at 7am...I would not let scatter showers detour me no matter what...I made a canopy of sorts for any time it started raining and I went to work....
I cleaned and painted the frame I sanded, cleaned, and painted the back of the cab and front of the bed with a roller (3 Coats Blitz Black) and and and I also installed Thrush Glass Packs.... **Only thing that sucked is I ran out of Flux wire...>Then used aluminum i accidentally bought so they had some very small leaks...I put exhaust sealer on it and the leaks seem to be gone... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I-aQ...e_gdata_player It was a long as day |
