thanks guys, yes I am glad clem was able to do the doors for me! and about the gauges I need to buy two other harnesses 1) that go's to the transmission and will display on the gauges what gear the truck is in! an 2) cruise control harness and it will have a light come on when engaged

got up a lil early this mourning an ordered altman easy latches, inside door handles, window crank handles, and outside door handles! all from classic parts an I get home to check my emails an have a estimated delivery for tomorrow! awesome next day delivery, lol!!! i'll have pics up when they come in!

thanks guys, been buying stuff that's for sure!! so I got my stuff from jegs after two month of being on backorder, an classic parts the other day an just got done opening the boxes an getting some pics! the easy latch kit I will have to cut my doors that I just had clem do for me! a lil not happy about that but it's got to be done! also had to buy some hinges after forgetting them when I was at clem's, an took them to work an blasted them to be rebuilt tomorrow! anyways on to some pics!!

so today was hot even in the shade, so all I did today was rebuild the 4 hinges, paint them with rust encapsulator from eastwood, cut my doors for the altman easy latches and install them for now just to see how they fit and look! I'll hang my doors later, the hinges need to dry first, so here is some pics

What's your assessment of those latches? Been thinking about them but don't know about NOT being able to lock door from inside? Would like a bit more security when wife is out and about in truck. Any workarounds you have planned?

well finally got a weekend off, lol!! just got done working 189.25hrs. the last two weeks, only getting 5 hrs. of sleep, sometimes less every night sucked!! but that paycheck will be sweet, lol!! lets see what I can get done on the truck, I just wish I could spend that much time on the truck and I think it would be done if not close to it, lol!!

no real progress made to take pics of this weekend! got but on call for work right after I logged off the other day! sitting at home on call so I didn't try and get into the truck much cause I could I've had to leave at anytime but never got called in to work!! that sucked, I did buy a couple gallons of some single stage ICE BLUE METALLIC paint for the truck and today they came in, :metal::metal: hoping to get the truck in primer and some color on it before the end of august! I shouldn't have any 14-16hr. work days til the end of Sept. I was told! that means I get to work on the truck a lil everyday after work :metal: got to get the back of the cab straight then i'll be able to get the cab into primer! at least that's the plan, lol!! so anyways here is a pic of the ice blue paint I got!!

thanks guys! can't wait til there is some color on the truck other then etching primer, LOL!

a week or so ago I put a request in the classified section for front bumper guards and DPowers had a set of N.O.S guards never mounted still in the original box so I bought them!

what color gray did you spray your truck?

thanks guys! and clem I haven't sprayed any color yet! yes it has metallic a medium I think it called! they had another blue with high metallic but the shade of blue was a lot darker like modges truck

The silver is called argent it is a dodge color. The inner fenders and core are dark shadow gray which is a Ford color.

Yes Donnie, I'm ready to see some color as well! just to busy with work here lately, so I haven't been on a lot! I literally just got off work logged on here to see that Martin and Rian had left me a message Tuesday that they will be in town Thursday (today)! so they came by an gave me a flag! I was really pleased to have them stop by an chat for just a bit before going back to kieths to eat dinner an before I had to get ready for bed to start my day all over again! Once again thank you Martin and Rian for the flag and for stopping by, one day I will have to make a trip over the pond to see your truck and to hang out some more!!

No problem Chad it was great too see your truck . Like me you are tight on space , but you are doing some great work. So glad we got to call in and see you and once again thanks for the front bumper irons . It means so much more when you fit something that's been given to you when you fit it on the truck . Especially when it's come from a friend keep up the good work.if you ever travel over the pond you are always welcome at mine .

well I'm still alive! I just been working way too much, I have got a couple small things done! I've blasted both cowl corners, all bumper brackets, all of the wing vent stuff, e-brake handle stuff, plus the bracket that goes under the truck for the e-brakes! i'll get pics tomorrow of that stuff, I started building my own trailering arms out of 2x3 tubing an 3/16" plate! I got the idea from other forum members! here are the two threads I have put together a lil this and a lil that!

thanks Clem, yea I seen those arms made on here before and figured I could make them, since I got 15x12 rims for the back and have future plans of a ls turbo motor! might as well beef up the rear trailering arms a bit now and don't have to do it later

ok so I have been busy with work, family and since my wife is going to have a new baby girl Tuesday the 19th. if her water don't break first, not a lot of truck time having to get the house ready for the new addition!

but I do have some stuff done I wanted to get my tci shifter up of the floor so I'm not leaning forward to shifter! so I made a bracket an took two gussets I made, tig welded them together! I think that it's different an another item I made, not of the shelf bought! I also used a plasma cutter to make some side gussets for my trailing arms an tig welded those up as well! I'm going to pie cut the very ends were the ballistic joints go to have a tampered look an not a boxed look! hope to have that finished this next week an have another update of them finished next weekend!

these pics are the gussets an after tig welding! I'm going to add a 2.5-3" strip of 3/16 to only the top! kind of like what P.O.L have done with there trailing arms! I still need to cut up some metal to make the plates for my rear sway bar to attach to these and also the rear brake cable bracket
