Wanting to go ahead and drop mine down a couple more inches like yours. Looks awesome. I just snapped a quick cell pic while in town. Mine is 2.5" drop springs up front and 4" springs in rear. Thinking 2" blocks in rear and 2" spindles up front. Chris |

I like yours too. I think you should go for it. The only other thing I did was, cut the rear bump stops |

Torsion bar drop up front with Chevelle coils in the rear. About to get drop shocks for the front and rear so I can bring the torsion bar back up. Those bolts drag on everything! 235 75 15 coker classic nostalgia content://media/external/file/9130

Re: How about some pics of Static dropped 60-66
Looks good, how are the Chevelle coils for handling weight in the bed? I've heard that jeep springs can't hold a load

6/6 drop. Hotchkis 6" rear springs and Hotchkis 4" front springs with cpp 2" drop spindles. And ride tech shocks. Cravat 17x8 in the front and 17x9 in the rear. 225/55/17 tires for now

Re: How about some pics of Static dropped 60-66
I've got a negative camber issue on the front of my 62 - not too mention I routinely take asphalt samples with it too. (Western PA)
78 burb front end with 2 1/2" drop spindles and 3" drop coils I bought MOOG offset upper control arm cross shafts hoping that will compensate. any other suggestions? |

Re: How about some pics of Static dropped 60-66
I read somewhere on this site or thread the 1.5 coils cut would give you 4 inch drop on a 64-66. doing my 64 tore front end apart and realize the spring have a pocket or are indexed at both ends. to me you could take one coil and it would fit right. how much drop dose that give? I like what I see of 63 & 64 Bowties !.5 cut and chevelle springs in the rear and was thinking something similar as I have some station wagon rear springs w air bags or chevelle springs . help want to cut myfront springs and put front back together next few days. ( also going to belltech shocks for a droped truck ) thanks Joel

Re: How about some pics of Static dropped 60-66
If I remember correctly it is 2 inches for every coil.

These trucks look awesome.
I am new to the forum. Just picked up a 1965 C10 and am going to redo the front end, but want to keep the stance I have now. I am guessing 4/6, what do you guys think? Thanks for any input. |
Re: How about some pics of Static dropped 60-66
Cool truck I would think its a 4 6 drop.
