Just thought I would do an update on my build......Sold my 350 engine with the cross ram setup, someone wanted it alot worst than I did.....

Going back to my original build with a big block......I have purchased another BBC Engine and headers.......The engine is at the machine shop, should be ready in about a week.

haha. You need a carb for the BBC? I have a 750 Holley I'm selling for $225, never had any gas in it. That's almost $100 of the purchase price.

Re: 198Plus build

Decided on what I was going to do with my BBC 402 build. I'm basically going to do a stock factory look. going to use factory intake with a Holley spread bore carb, nice cam upgrade and very little chrome.

This is the excact look and sound I'm going to do.........:chevy:

That thing looks awesome. Thanks for sharing and good idea to have the bezel and lense polished. It should look outstanding in your truck.

That seems to be the norm these days. Nobody gives a $hit. They don't have pride in there work. Except Allan and all of us. :metal:

I'm just trying to see how much money I can blow doing this project

The truth is, I already had these doors from my parts truck and decided to give them new life and I wanted to use OEM doors anyway.

Re: 198Plus build

Did you do it or have it done. I'm thinking I have a couple doors that could use some skin. I love blowing money too. I bought a couple doors for 75. They are in good shape except it looks like the guy used a belt sander to sand off the door logo. It warped the doors. I tried to fix it, but, I'm no Alan.:waah::waah::waah:
