Thanks 60-66 for the comment . It's not hard when you start off with a good project .The truck was used only two weeks per year then sat in a barn the rest of the time , which saved the paint .

Gawd that grain truck is gorgeous! If you can find some stock mirrors you'll be in business! I would like to find one like that. 292? 4X2 trans?

Yeah it is. It popped up on the GMC boards the other day. Wish they'd include the pump and tank though. It just makes that truck truck stand out perfectly.

was looking at this thread and popped over to Hemmings. Not perfect but, this one sure is nice. I like the plain look of it.

Most original?? Repainted, reupholstered, shenanigans under the hood, wrong wheels, CD player in the dash? Hmmm. If this is what passes for "original" these days.... sigh. I guess it's sorta tryin' to be of an original truck, lol.

Yeah, I guess I posted in the wrong place... didn't see everything till I looked closer. Just "looked" nice at first to me.

Right! 3/4 tons were just beginning to get popular for recreational use about this time, most ended up as abused work horses with a low survival rates. This one has the one year only 261 to make it even more of a special find. IMO, somebody got a very good deal in 2019.
