What a great looking truck!

Wanting to go ahead and drop mine down a couple more inches like yours. Looks awesome. I just snapped a quick cell pic while in town. Mine is 2.5" drop springs up front and 4" springs in rear. Thinking 2" blocks in rear and 2" spindles up front.

Thanks for the kind words.
I like yours too. I think you should go for it.
The only other thing I did was, cut the rear bump stops

Looks good, how are the Chevelle coils for handling weight in the bed? I've heard that jeep springs can't hold a load

Um, they're still pretty soft. I don't haul anything too big, but I haven't had any issues. I have about 3-4 inches before my frame hits the axle so I have a little room haha.

I've got a negative camber issue on the front of my 62 - not too mention I routinely take asphalt samples with it too. (Western PA)

78 burb front end with 2 1/2" drop spindles and 3" drop coils

I bought MOOG offset upper control arm cross shafts hoping that will compensate.

any other suggestions?

Re: How about some pics of Static dropped 60-66

I read somewhere on this site or thread the 1.5 coils cut would give you 4 inch drop on a 64-66. doing my 64 tore front end apart and realize the spring have a pocket or are indexed at both ends. to me you could take one coil and it would fit right. how much drop dose that give? I like what I see of 63 & 64 Bowties !.5 cut and chevelle springs in the rear and was thinking something similar as I have some station wagon rear springs w air bags or chevelle springs . help want to cut myfront springs and put front back together next few days. ( also going to belltech shocks for a droped truck ) thanks Joel

If I remember correctly it is 2 inches for every coil.

so when they cut 1 and a half coil the must index the top and let the bottom be where it comes out ? like what I see of people who cut 1.5 and use jeep or A body rear springs, jus not so sure about the bottom of the spring not being in the pocket or index spot??

I have cut half coils and left the bottom half not indexed and it works fine. From what I can tell the original height coils didn't sit vary well in the bucket to begin with. When I cut full coils I still couldn't get the coil to index that good.

These trucks look awesome.
I am new to the forum. Just picked up a 1965 C10 and am going to redo the front end, but want to keep the stance I have now. I am guessing 4/6, what do you guys think?

Thanks for any input.
