I'm hoping that I can get both titled, and I and one of my sons can drive them around. We shall see.

I'm going to have to pass on these critters. I have no place to put them to work on them.

Wow, tell me the last time you saw a truck that represented itself True to the words in the ad so well, such a solid original, and had so much labor already done for that kind of money!? I know these 1 ton Duallys can be a little hard to place to a new home, but I hope she sells for full price quickly :)

Unusual color combination that I will guess isn't factory. It's a nice 503 68 C20 $3500. Depending on the demon rust this could be a good buy. I wonder if you get your choice of seat covers?

Beautiful truck. But dont really like the exhaust hanger they used. Makes you wonder what other corners they cut for that price?

I like the blue/white one but what's up with the seat color? Of course the price is out there for me as well but it is a nice truck.

The red one I am just not crazy about the big wheel, small rubber trend in 4x4's in the past few years. But I am old and realize those are mall crawler trucks and not really going off road or even gravel road.

Of course both of those trucks will probably not be driven further than the carrier to the garage, if even that far.

For that kind of money, one could have done a much better job of faking a Cheyenne Super (Post 8263)

The list is long on this one... but at first glance:
Big blocks not available in any 4x4s in this era
Black vinyl trim not available in a Super unless ordered with bucket seats
(GM never made a black vinyl seat cover with houndstooth)
Has Custom Deluxe door panels
No gb door woodgrain
No dash woodgrain

Some of those may be cosmetics - but the claim that the truck was ordered with all this stuff is false - it couldn't have been. It is most likely a Cheyenne K10 (black headliner - which can ONLY exist in a Z84 Cheyenne trim level, unless a Super is ordered with buckets) - which would have been a very nice truck if someone hadn't gone crazy with the lipstick and buzz words.

We should be thankful for veteran contributors like jocko and others for posting the correct information about these GM trucks.
Thanks jocko, for setting the record straight on these for sale ads and auctions.
Critiquing can be positive and fair to correct misinformation. ;)
I am always learning from this site about my 72 and the other 5 years. :chevy:

Kind of amusing to compare these two Jarrett Backson trucks, injected 5.3 w/4L60 is FOURTY THOUSAND dollar upgrade. Is it just me or would you consider getting the emblems straight ( or even the correct emblems ?!) on the fenders and the cab-bed alignment correct a mandatory thing on a 110,000 Thousand dollar truck?! Oh, well, I guess it sold, so I have to eat that statement :)
