Great looking truck. Couple of questions if I may. How much of a lift on that and what size tires. Assuming its your truck and not one just found out and about.

I'd guess....What? 6" lift and 35's? I'm trying to figure out how much of a lift I want on my Panel. This is a little more than I want but not much. I'm thinking 4" with 33's for me but I want to get some comparisons before I make my finial decision.

spacedebris, this is my friends truck that he sold a few months back. he had a 3" body lift and a 4" suspension lift , the tires were 38's. hope this helps you.

cotton's truck...
a buddy has this cool truck that is a 70s style build. he brought it over for a new bed because the glitter disco effect wasn't working for him (see pic). he got some nice exotic hardwood boards done by a local cabinet maker and i'm gonna make them fit.
cotton did the finish work on the boards and i can't wait to see them.

for now, check out a torch lowered, pin striped, honey of a truck... way to go cotton.

Thanks it'll stay like that for a while. The truck sits pretty much stock except for the sail panel moldings.

the reason why I asked you if it was on a later frame is the way that the rear axle seems to be set back aways

found this on the web:

"Russel’s flamed yellow ’64 Chevy tractor-pull truck featured a homemade twin-turbo system perched on a 469ci Pontiac engine. With the turbos pushing through a homemade 15psi wastegate and a Holley 850 carb, this puller develops anywhere from 450 to 550 horsepower. Why didn’t Russel just buy his parts like everyone else? “That’d cost money, and I don’t have any of that.”
