Re: 67-72 C/K/T-40's-90's!
I think it's a Blazer also. Very far left of the photo. Looks like it has a windshield with no roof.

Spoiled California people, a 72 suburban doesn't even faze us.

Re: 67-72 C/K/T-40's-90's!
Here's a big one for sale near me. Make a cool project but I can't take on another one.

What!? No interior pictures?

Re: 67-72 C/K/T-40's-90's!
I could do without that JD paint job. That's a cool truck. The Cummins 350 is cool, but I gotta have a Detroit in one of these. Those 3.55s would make it a great hiway truck

Re: 67-72 C/K/T-40's-90's!
Interesting truck but I agree, it needs new Paint, Engine (Detroit like mentioned) and a few more Rear Wheels.

Re: 67-72 C/K/T-40's-90's!
Damn I should buy that for the transmission and the gear ratio.......the straight looking body is just a bonus.. I do hope it finds a good home (and an 8 or 12 v 71)

Re: 67-72 C/K/T-40's-90's!
It's been for sale here for I know 6 months. I guess there just isn't much interest in that size here. I bet $1500 cash would get it. I just don't have time for another project.

Re: 67-72 C/K/T-40's-90's!
No idea how I would get it to Alaska ... Or where I would put my stuff when my wife threw me out.
|
Re: 67-72 C/K/T-40's-90's!
Ha! I wouldn't know how to get it to Tennessee. SC doesn't sound far, until you look at what you're towing.

Re: 67-72 C/K/T-40's-90's!
Hell I would drive it that Far....those Cummings tend to pop head gaskets and leak oil bad but still run pretty fair from what I am told

Here is a pic of my friends 1971 GMC 5500, it lives in Texas. 59K original miles.
Visited it last week, 350 5 speed, exceptionally nice interior. http://i.imgur.com/D3vB1Egl.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/9b8tkn7l.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/BQBtBGTl.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/nZw55kFl.jpg |

Re: 67-72 C/K/T-40's-90's!
Looks good.
I believe I see a 2-Speed Rear button on the shifter handle. |
Re: 67-72 C/K/T-40's-90's!
You are right, it also has HD cooling with an extra tall thick radiator. SPID says full foam seat.

Re: 67-72 C/K/T-40's-90's!
It has the big rear window and the heater guard you saw on medium duties.

He said he would sell it to me for $2500.
Wood bed needs replacing, plus it is 600 mile from home!! |
