I spoke to Spectre and they said they have a brand new LS conversion on the way part number 901235, but he said to wait for a month before pulling it up on the web site. but the impatience man I am I pulled it up on Summit Racing and there was a pic but the pipe looks straight. So if I can't find something soon I guess I will have to wait and see. |

for those looking to swap in a TR6060 trans, I just ordered one of these. It should make using all the aftermarket T56 tranny cross members a bolt in.
www.RPhotrods.com Here is what they had to say... "To keep up with new transmission options Muscle Rods® has released two new transmission adapter brackets for the T-56 and TR-6060 transmissions, including the MG9 “high-torque” version of the TR-6060 behind the LSA engines in the CTS-V and ZL1 Camaro. The adapter bracket for the Cadillac CTS-V T-56 as well as the late model TR6060 (non MG9) is laser cut, CNC bent and jig welded using 3/16” thick A36, steel is powder-coated black and comes with all necessary hardware. It is designed to adapt a standard transmission mount to the transmission using the factory bolt holes in the side of the extension housing and places the transmission mount in the correct location for our LS swap kits. The adapter bracket for the MG9 high-torque TR-6060 is CNC machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum, has a milled finish and comes with all necessary hardware. It is designed to adapt a standard transmission mount to the transmission using the factory bolt holes at the rear of the extension housing and places the transmission mount in the correct location for our LS swap kits. Polyurethane transmission mount is not included with the transmission adapter brackets, but is included with our LSx swap kits." |

Just fit check this 2014 LS3 in my 66 C10 with mild PB drop member. Will be using the MSD Atomic LS EFI setup here to so will simplify the computer system, plus be speed density, wide band and no MAF. I have a new 4L70E as well with stand alone controller.

Re: LS swappers, post up your pics!!
LS3 or L99? Are you keeping the variable valve timing?

It is an L99 out of a 2014 Camaro. I already have everything to convert it to an LS3, per say. Dumping the VVT and AFM, swapping to a small TSP 225/230 cam. As soon as I pull the engine back out will pull the heads, swap cam and lifters, springs and move up to roller rockers. Also setting aside the 6L80E for now and use a 4L70E so I don't have to stick with the OE PCM, no real solution for a stand alone TCM for the 6L80E plus the pain of the output yoke. Will also use FBC. |
Re: LS swappers, post up your pics!!
Sounds like you've got it covered. Do you have a build thread going?
|
Re: LS swappers, post up your pics!!
No Build thread yet. Debating on whether to start one, I'm horrible at documenting as I go..

Final mock up complete. LC9 w/ a TR6060. now just have to pull it and put on the CTSV pan, notch the frame rail for the NLE power R&P and, put in the 14' Camaro SS clutch and drill a few more holes for mounts.
