Re: The '67 Burb Build Thread
damn that looks dark..lol
looks like the front windshield has a tint on it..i like it! hey, when are paint in the plans? |
Re: The '67 Burb Build Thread
haha thanks.
the whole windshield is tinted, its done in a medium which is the darkest they would go, their is 1 more shade above it before limo which is what i wanted, but they wouldnt do it that dark. im kind of glad though, because i actually like it how it is. need to go back when i get some more money and have them put a limo strip across the top of it though. paint is way far from ever being done, it needs a lot of body work before then. plus, i am gonna get it all done suspension and drive train wise before paint ever happens. it looks ok enough for now :) |

my new/used free temporary rear bumper, did a lot of hammering/pounding on it to get it looking half way decent and strait, but hey i cant complain to much it was free :metal:
:waah: now i just need to get a set of bumper brackets from a truck, or rear frame pieces to weld back on from a suburban for the inner brackets area. then i would only need one outer left bracket then. and it will also be painted black before it is installed Attachment 770421 Attachment 770422 |
Re: The '67 Burb Build Thread
haha i looked at the bumper and before i read anything i was thinking i wonder how nice its going to look in black lol

Re: The '67 Burb Build Thread
you get the bumper installed yet? IF SO YOU BETTER HAVE PICS
|
Re: The '67 Burb Build Thread
haha. nah its standing up in the corner of my garage lookin just like those pics, i need to get some brackets and figure out how im gonna run the exhaust tips since they will be in the way now. rather it be run them through holes in the bumper, half circle cutouts in the bottom of the bumper, or through the side of the body behind or in front of the rear tire
