Trai,
Thanks. I will tell her. I think you deserve to know somethin. Before yall came into her life, my mom was a very different person. to be honest, we thought we were gonna lose her from a broken heart. She has a recording of my dads voice that he left for her on my cell phone while we was workin. It was 2 weeks before he died. It says hey beck, tell mom santa clause came. He had bought her christmas present. She put it on a tape recorder and she would take it and spend hours or days either at the cemetary, or sittin in Ol Girl. She worked on stuff around here till her hands bled, and she never slept. When yall gave her that money, she was able to get the electric & water hooked up in her new trailer and all she talks about is what yall are doin for her. Shes more talkative, and shes so excited that she will actually be able to DRIVE that truck. We are forever indebted to all of you, and we just love you all for givin us even a part of our mom back. Shes just a very humble person and NO ONE has ever helped her like this. She doesnt know what to say to yall. Yalls presence in her life has been nothin but POSITIVE!!! Thats why we kinda hoped to surprise her with everything all at once, but we will just ease her into gettin on the forum with yall and she will be just fine! Again Trai, GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU, and THANK YOU!!
Your Friend,
Becky

I would like to put this in my Church Newsletter. Would that be ok. The Spirit of "Helping thy neighbor" is still alive!

As the ford guy helping out wanted to jump in and see how it's going, good to see it's still alive and well:)

Most of the conversation from here on out is probably gonna be in the build thread. We'll post some updates as they come.

Thanks to 71'tahoe, the fenders will be picked up. The "Underhaulin" starts this Friday at my shop if anyone else wants to help out.
Our goal for this weekend is to get the frame stripped, painted and rolling again, floor, toe kick and cab corner patches installed.
Thanks to all that have donated and contributed.

Re: Ebay - Chevy truck widower selling their whole lot

Got a email from Tiffany yesterday. Clyde's passing's anniversary is coming up.

Dear Bill,
Hey. its Tiffany. I hope you had a great Christmas. Sorry we havent written latley. Weve just been goin thru a lot. You told me awhile back that everyone handles sadness differently & i understand that but I dont know what to do to help mom. I asked her docter if she can die from a broken heart. He said not literaly but that a persons emotional health can add to the strain of an already existing heart condition, & then he went on & on about medical stuff i'll never understand. We finally got her to go to grief counseling, but they didnt help her. Everyone seems to think that by now she should be handling it better. Jan 13th will be 2 yrs since my dad died & its like it was yesterday somtimes. I wanted to let yall know that when shes really bad, me or Becky will walk up to her and put our arm around her & whisper think about Ole Girl, and we always get a smile. We wanted to remind everyone how much what yall are doin means to her and thank you all from the bottom of our hearts! Take care & Happy New Year. God Bless all of you.
Your friend,
Tiffany
