Hey guys I need a little advice. I have everything to go ahead and do the front disc brake upgrade but the hard lines. I know about this kit from POL

https://www.performanceonline.com/19...RE-BENT-18377/

My question is, has anyone used this kit and will it work fine with my Corvette style master cylinder and CPP prop valve?

Those lines will be bent just like stock.
The two likes going up to the prop valve will be different.
You will probably have to bend up some new lines there.
(or modify the stock lines)

If your existing lines are ok,... I would just bend up what you need.

Re: Shawno72's long overdue 68 daily driver build thread

Thanks Keith, I may just add to what I have cause my existing lines are in good shape. But on the website it does say

These 1963-70 Chevy and GMC truck disc brake conversion lines are designed to work with our manual master cylinder & prop valve kit or our Power brake booster kits, making your installation easy!

I have the exact setup as their Power brake booster kit so it should be a direct fit?

I'm telling you, this thing is a ton of fun to drive now. Keep in mind that I have a 3.08 rear end. Your 4 speed probably came mated to a 3.73 rear end, will still be good enough to get you down the highway :metal:

Kevin even installed it for me and pushed the column further in to give more cab room.

My next plan is to get the front disc brake and drop spindle upgrade installed. I have evrything but the brake hardline kit. Then I want to focus on the sealing up the floor and putting down some sound deadener and carpet. Next will be to change out the windshield and see if there is any rust damage at the bottom window channel

Got a really nice set of "CST" original badges so I thinking of leaving the patina look are masking and painting the black area again. What do you think?

Hey Shawn, just curious. So this is as opposed to going with fresh repops? If so, and you're deciding to keep the patina look of the truck, why not leave the original emblems in the current condition? Ya know, "overall patina look".

Well guys I did give it some thought on the patina. I decided to just touch up the black cause it was so faded that the emblems looked almost totally chrome and I wanted some contrast. And the patina will only be temporary for another year or two :D
