Little of today's work....got rear brakes and panhard rod installed ....rearend squared to frame and front to back (wheelbase check)..should roll down road straight!....need longer bolts for front calipers to be mounted permanently but left drivers on for pic....

Would like to take moment to thank Tobin Knighton at Kore 3 for answering my emails on Sunday of all days!!...Class act and if any of u are wanting to run big brakes and other components I can't tell you how good these guys are...He got me straight on my bearing retainers today after over 2 years having past since purchase!!.......more this week.....jim

Yes sir ...that is the kit that kore 3 makes...man it is a piece of work....lokar cables that will be run down the control arms connected with the same collars used for accuair level sensors like the one in pic...Will drill and tap those large ones and figure out a bolt on attachment for the cables.....more this week...jim

Re: 68 aka "Chained in Porterbuilt Prison"

Really good to know. I also have kore 3 but they did not have a e-brake rotor available yet for the 5x5.

Good idea on the clamps. I have them in preparation for my accu air install, I guess I will need a couple more..

Keep up the great work!

All I can say is.... Wow!!! The quality of craftsmanship is top notch. I love the ingenious ways you use things, like the motor stands, other than their intended use. I am going to use the motor stand idea for my chassis when I go to paint it. Keep up the good work.

Zo6 ....bought calipers, rotors, spindles, hubs and brackets from Boris (way2lo) .....good guy...also can get from Tobin at Kore 3.....rotors are 14" with 6 piston calipers...Tell u how anal Boris is about these...He insists on assembling the spindles and hubs himself before shipping...so never to have someone install bearings improperly..........jim

Got the stainless brake lines installed...in front was able to install "thru the frame" ...line works great in any position of spindle and whether slammed or in full up mode...(and it's not that close to shock as it looks..bends nicely on turns)...rears may surprise some but works like front ....any position of rear end they clear..still waiting on mastercool flaring tool for hardlines....and last if you haven't seen this 7 conducter wire for rear section here it is....has 6 14 gauge wires and 1 12 gauge wire (fuel pump)...No harness wrap needed...more on this in couple of days...jim

Brake lines look great. Is your rear wiring for a trailer application? That's what I usually get too.

Yes and it works great AND I was able to run both it and 2 gauge battery cable down drivers side THRU THE EXTREME C-NOTCH....lot's of work with a helper but it is INSIDE the frame rail completely.....think i will start a thread on what needs to be done before final assembly of notch to make this easier for those who follow!!....pics tomorrow...running another 2 gauge down pass. side straight to starter...dr. side will run rest of truck....Batteries are common grounded to frame and positives will be tied together....second set of leads to go to charging posts at pass. rear taillight (which opens to reveal) to make that chore easier if u ever need a jump.....jim
