"When welded to the exhaust pipe it will fit perfect."
Why wouldn't you just weld it to the fender?:smoke: It seems if you weld it to the pipe it would rub your paint off.:exit: Got to check ebay.:exit:

The bezel is bolted to the fender, and the exhaust pipe will be on a exhaust hanger but centered better. I have a big exhaust tip that fits over the inside of the Corvette bezel, but that might burn the paint if it heats up the bezel.

they have this fireproof fabric band they wrap around motorcycle exausts sumtimes to prevent burning there legs on it maybe you have room enough between the pipe and the bezel to put a little bit of the stuff in between
it will draw away a lot of the heat to the bezel

There's no room. The large tail pipe tips fit tight around the bezel. I wonder if I drilled holes in the pipe before it exits. But it might make it sound funny.

get some kind of heat displacing paint and spray the bezel, should keep heat off it some.

Just sold my wife's Subaru Outback, and picked up her new toy. Or should I say OUR NEW TOY.

This is our 10th Corvette since I was 19 years old.

It's a 2001.

There really is only one thing I don't like about that Vette -- It's not mine hahaha

It looks to be in excellent condition!

Yes you do have a great wife, if she goes for "trades" like that!!
