very little progress to report. We installed the levers for the factory tilt, and put a decent steering wheel on it for now.We installed the transmission linkage. I also mounted the wiring harness. I need to pickup an adapter from Kennys trucks @ pate tomorrow.

I planning on using this under my cab does it go on nice? Did you use the gun that came with the kit?

John, i sprayed a little bit, then let the helper continue, they used the gun that came with the kit. I know they sprayed several coats to get the texture in bed area.

I have a whole box worth of excuses to not mess with wiring if you need some more when that one is used up!

Beautiful truck you have there. I always admire your 56 when I pass by the shop. When I saw your son's truck out there I admired it too. That shop has alot of nice cars in front...

I live up the street from the shop on 1387/664. Do you do welding on side? Might need rocker panels put on my 83.

Re: Project Slo-Go 67

Well after alot of routing wires etc, we mounted the battery box and temporarily mounted a battery. I told my son that the truck would start if we installed the distributor, and spark plug wires, he looked at me with a HUGE grin!, so to prove my point, I told him we could turn it over for a second to see if i did the wiring correctly to this point  Below is the outcome....

we still need to complete the wiring but we are taking our time  . we should be able to start routing wires for the lights etc. soon i hope.....

Yeah, it was awesome Geoff, I havent seen him that lit up in awhile. Hopefully this weekend we can concentrate on the truck and try to get most of the wiring completed. We had graduations etc. this past weekend that kept us from working on the truck.

nice progress. Keep at the wiring....going through the spaghetti on my blazer now correcting a key off drain the PO installed for me ;) Actually his wiring work was very nice and I hate having to undo all of the nice wound and wrapped wire to hunt down what most likely is one wrong connection somewhere...

Heath, I just read through your whole build, great job (I mean it!). The sure sign of good craftsmanship is when there is a noticeable absence of cut corners. Your followers are extremely valuable in supporting you, and being anxious for your results, but I can truly appreciate your desire to take your time, do it right, not scratch the paint! It must be agony for your boy, though!
