Took a picture of Raul's pool table because it was full of new parts. In fact all the engine parts are all in the garage, in the closets, kids room I mean there are parts EVERYWHERE so I dont know what the hold up is and now I find the thread has been inactive for almost two weeks. Raul come out from wherever you are and start finishing this truck as cruising season is almost here.

Wow!!!! After a few hours. I just went thru the whole build. For lack of a better word. Sick!!! Is the only thing that comes to mind. Subscribed. Btw Al. Let's meet up soon.

you are right al , as far as parts i'm ready , its time whats going to keep me from working on it , you see, there are these two little creatures wainting for me by the pool every day after work for the rest of the summer , so lets see if i can escape here and there !!!!!

not much chris !!! ive been fighting a bad cold for the last 3 weeks that turned into bronchitis , so ill be out of comission for a few more weeks , so for now ill just follow you guys

lol no secrets here , just no time , it will be at least until end of summer before i get to work on it again , anyways , yes i got all the parts back from machine shop , the block was bored over 20 and the crank and cam bearings standard as they were in good shape , as for the heads , well !!!! we did a little work on them

Glad to see that the internals were good on that engine. It ran good on my end, you just never know what lurks on the inside.

Hey Raul, the speaker pods that in the cab corners. Are those a weld in or bolt in type thing. Getting ready to do my stereo system in my Chevy and like those.

lol, just some street porting ,some valve work with one piece ss bigger valves

yes they are bolt on , if you go back to page 30 post # 739 i posted the link of the vendor , click on it and you will find all the info along with some pictures , take care

Those speaker brackets are heavy duty too. love the set i got.

Wow! I am about 85% certain that I am going to TT my '71, but honestly scared to do it. I have never built anything forced induction. I think it will be fun though.

it is a lot of fun once your are done and have it tune right , but not an easy road to go down to unless you like to build and have patience to deal with all the changes and mods you have to do , and do lots and lots of reaserch before you start building or you will end up doing things over and over

small update !!! since im not working on the truck in the summer , i figure it will be a good time to tackle the tranny , lucky for me i have tech who build gm trannys for 20+ years here in our shop , the tranny was working fine but it need it some high end parts to be able to handle a little more horse power !!!!
