Bought a DA Sander from Eastwood at the end of February... Used it very little, and this past weekend it wouldn't work when applying air...:banghead:

Got on the Eastwood site, clicked the "Live Chat" button and explained situation to Customer Service Rep... Pushed it over to Tech Assistance... The Tech guy immediately advised it sounded as if it was some internal problem with the item and issued a replacement order...:bann:

Small problem solved rather quickly...:uhmk:

Eastwood Company...:metal:

Glad they were quick to resolve the issue... the reason I went with that DA is because it only uses 2.8 CFM and since I have a single stage compressor, that is well within the air usage my compressor can handle...;)

Just think how crazy it's going to get when the govment (misspelled purposely) raises the minimum wage? :thud:

Did you check the position of the small lever on the left side by the handle (if it has one). Mine seems to have flopped down to the closed position every time I go to use it. It might be something as simple as pushing the lever up against the motor and it will fire right up.

Another few steps forward…

Colored puc looks great Don.

What did you use for the coloring??

Reminds me of those pics Nicola took of my truck.

Your headers seem a bargain and have come out well.

Had a busy weekend myself.

Building this..... http://www.volkszone.com/VZi/showthread.php?t=1072873

And scored a block and tackle for the garage too (free)

Thanx for the compliment on the pic...:mm: I use Prismacolor colored pencils… That was a quick color study, and I plan on making a few adjustments on the final one I will display in my Workshed...:bann:

Thanx Brother!!! Fairly pleased with the fender after shooting a coat of rattle can Primer, although there are a couple of small issues that I spotted with the primer applied...:dohh: Just get to do some more sanding and break out the Dolphin Glaze Putty JMo hooked me up with. :metal: Then will be ready to shoot some primer onto the fenders… next up… Finish the inner fenders to get them in primer, then it will be time to tackle the Driver's door...:sumo:
Have a Blessed Day Brother, hope you can make it up this way soon!

Scored a set of doors cheap… ;)

After looking at the amount of time I have in repairing one fender, I decided to pull the trigger on these doors.:mm: I will do some learning on my doors in the future. :uhmk:

These are close to being ready to put together and hang as soon as I get the cab re-mounted...:metal: just gotta address the mirror mounting holes and the custom trim holes...:chevy:

Thanx Guyz…;)

After looking at the amount of time I put into the one fender...:banghead:
Which was my first attempt at a major rust repair… I decided that $125 for 2 doors would be a wise investment. The time savings alone makes the price bearable. :bann:

Plans are to get truck drivable...:metal: then hone some Metalworking and Body Skillz on the doors that were originally on the truck...:uhmk:

Thanx again for looking in on me… Plans for a busy upcoming Sunday and Monday...:uhmk:

Ready to cry in my beer !!!!!!

Those doors are a great score.

Martin bought what was probably the only one for sale in the UK for $170 and we thought he had done well.

Serious score mate.

Re: Donz '65 SWB Stepper Budget Build...

Man you gotta deal on them doors.
I agree sometimes it is better to buy a perfect part rather than spend days or weeks trying to fix things.

nice doors bro. can't tell about the mirrors but they look like car mirrors from the same period. you might consider running them.
