I just came back from running errands in my stalling out C/10 W/ 250 I6 & TH350 , two footing it through dense L.A. traffic isn't my idea of fun .

I stopped to fill the tank and did a fuel economy check ~G , not bad for an old clapped out pickup truck .

I removed all the trim (moulding) from the fender I bought from Jeremiah King. (It came off amazingly easy). Then I ran it over to the body shop to fix the UPS damage.

Trucks in Conway at a buddies where were close to finishing it up! I'll Possibly have it over here in Russellville a week or so from now getting ready to move home(Yellvile ar). and of course show it to some college buddies!

Its earning its keep hauling and pulling construction supplies now. Just about finished the new guage console with electric speedo for the 5.3.

I got my Aux Battery system working on my longhorn. A big thanks to Roger Koop for the harness, fits and works great. Now I have 12V power at the back of the truck via the camper harness.

Played with glove box stuff while I wait for the new alt.

Nice day. So I was also under the hood cleaning up a little.

In the mail came some faux leather sheeting.

I'm trying to figure out if I want to match the cluster by getting a *real* chrome glove box and covering the center with an insert of this stuff, or just stop all the madness and paint it the color of the dash.

I installed the Air tank and compressor on the Frame. Tomorrow I am going to try and mount the Solenoids. Then it is on to Routing the air lines.

I finally got my c-notch cut and bolted into place. The new bed arrives tomorrow!

Picked up a cherry H052 4.10 ratio 3rd member with it's axle shafts.

Big step forward in getting my burb more highway friendly, by swapping out my 4.57 3rd member for the 4.10's.

Well I've only had 1 chance to drive it since it's been raining here. But yes I can tell a differance in the road noise and when I shut the doors I really can tell a differance.

That is my original 71' seat frame. The foam is hand sculpted.

Took windshield & rear glass out of the 68. I found a little rest in the top of windshield. Ground out the minor rust, ( in the seams ) Filled primed & painted
ready to have it install this morning. I'm also putting in a B&M sport shifter today. Next job will be to make an Alum overlay for my auto meter gauges. I still don't know how to post pictures !! Need help on that:chevy:

How to post Pictures.

Once your on the post U plan to make scroll down to where it says manage attachements. Click on it. A pop up will appear. Click on the first browse and pick the picture off your computer. Then hit the upload tab. Once it uploads do it again for the next picture. U can do this 5 times on each post.;):chevy:

It worked!
Now for a little more info.
Once U have a picture uploaded like the picture of you truck. Right click on it and a pop up will have a bunch of stuff in it. Bottom says properties, left click on it and a nother box pops up. It will have a address line copy it. Like this:

Then come back to a post on here are any other message boad and add [img][/img] to it and it will appear.

I received a call from the body shop, they have finished with the UPS-damaged fender. I will pick it up when the weather breaks. I'll try to get up before and after shots for you guys.

Your stuff will be in the mail on Friday. Gave you enough so you could screw up a couple of times. Pretty easy, though. In the glove box door, you can use a needle to pop any air bubbles.

Well spent 4 hour trying to get the windshield installed. well it broke. Installer will be back monday with new windshield. Did get the back one in. Still working on shifter.

That's a bummer stepsider. I broke a rear once, but the front went it well. Go figure.

I ran my engine today since a buddy came over. Worked on the other car's master/slave clutch cylinders.

Got the rest of the parts together today to get ready to install the new engine/transmission after thanksgivin' dinner. Out with the 350, in with the ____ (gonna keep yall guessing) mated to a built 700r4. (If ya know what your looking at, my brother said the harmonic balancer gives it away, and i guess ill see if hes right.):metal:
