Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks
This 65 409 truck was in Yesteryears magazine many years ago. Its a 409, most likely a truck engine version. He built it to his standards the way GM Might have done it. Found those pictures on an old disc I had for my PC. They mixed and matched parts to make things work.

Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks
Every time I see an old pic like that, it makes me think about a trip I took with my great-grandmother from Ventura, CA to San Francisco. I was 4 or 5 (one of my earliest memories). We drove up CA Hwy 1 in their 1967 Chrysler Imperial that they drove off the showroom floor in 67. I remember laying in the back window (those were the days LOL), looking at all the cars and buildings.

Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks
I remember taking a trip across the us in 1969 with my brother who is 15 years older, his wife their 3 kids, my sister and cousin we saw the grand Canyon, Carlsbad Caverns, Old Mexico City (bull fights) San Antonio and back to New Orleans. I and my 3 smaller cousins took turns sleepoing on the back deck, the only problem was when my brother turned the radio up playing Marty Robbins music, not bad but not the musci of a 6 yr. old either. Oh Man I knew every word to El Paso and all the rest of the songs from the Gunfighter alblum.
Best vacation I ever had. - Great Memories! |
