Finding the time has become a factor too. Our weather will begin to break soon, that should bring on some motivation but currently we're still in the deep freeze with temps hovering around zero's at night. |

Man, it has been in the 60's-70's here all the snow is gone, but I am still waiting, we usually get 1-2 snows as late as May, so untill then it is Spring ISH here, hope it warms up back there enough for ya to get motivated?!

Think I'm going to ditch the white bench up front and put the roll away there, it's already proven to be nothing but a catch-all. I like the blazer where it is now (in the pix) but it takes up ALL the garage being there. It does allow for great access/working space though. Might put the other dollies under the rear tires and just move it as needed. Gotta decide on the next step too... It's either clean up the tub interior & spray it with sound deaden-er, clean up the firewall & get it painted or start plumbing the brakes and gas lines. Leaning towards getting the tub interior done right now. |
Re: Building a Blazer - vtblazer's Way
Talk about parallel parking.
I say do it in the order you listed them. |
Re: Building a Blazer - vtblazer's Way
Do what ever it is in your head your motivated to do. You can always switch gears later on.

Finally got something to post.
Jumped on welding up the holes in the tub that needed to go away, the lower moulding holes & the drivers side quarter that once upon a time held a CB radio antenna. Also fixed the drivers side 'a' pillar where the hinges are, the top was pulled out & the lower was pushed in & cracked. |

Nice work as usual...does the filter/regulator have a paper element in it or is it just a collector with a petcock. Either way, I'm sure you'll have dry air, nice addition to your compresser.
What's next on the todo list? |

Yes, it's got a changeable/replaceable filter, it's a dual purpose unit, cleans both water & dirt from the air lines. Still not done with the body, have a couple good 'crinkles' to pull out along with more holes to fill. The rocker still isn't totally finished either, got tired of welding upside down...man that really sucks. Need to pick up some more flapper discs today too. ...but then it's pull out everything from under the dash, clean & prep the firewall & spray. |
