Got my rotors back from powdercoat today. They took longer cause I had to wait till they had enough stuff to do in silver high heat powder. I'll have them turned when I get to the point where brakes need to be functional.

Got the rest of my zinc plating done. Some of the brake parts weren't colored to the theme of the chassis so I had the rest of it finished up. Now I can assemble a ton of stuff. Got the original door hinges done. No paint. All done in zinc.

When you start putting your truck together it'll be like assembling a new one.

Got the tilt telescopic column completed. If you didn't know you would think it could have been factory.

I got my washer bottle finished up tonight. I riveted a terminal to the bottom of the bottle and a rod thru the top. When there is water in it and it is above the metal rod the light will stay off. When the water level is below the metal rod the light will turn on letting me know the fluid is low. The fluid itself completes the ground circuit. The terminal on the bottom goes to the washer pump ground so the light will only come on when the washer is pumping.

I like the washer fluid low-level indicator setup. What kind of circuit are you using to turn the indicator light on? Got a schematic?

Is that a factory deal??? Just wondering, I have not heard of such. Where is the indicator light?

I like that setup. The mickey mouse pump situation on the motor is a pain.........

It's actually a 71 to 74 gm coolant level accessory. I just adapted it to washer fluid and made the light work next to the wiper wording on the gauge bezel. Gm Part # 364002. The pump is from a 75 Vette. They are common on ebay and relatively Inexpensive swap.

The radio is now completed as well. Had the face re-chromed and all the buttons re-chromed as well. New truck style lens. I also sent it back to Greg at electro tech and had him install a auxiliary from the back of the radio so I can play my phone. I'll prob run a cable to my console when I get that far. I am super happy with how this turned out. I would recommend electro tech for all your radio needs. Greg is great to work with. I used his speakers as well. Here is a video as well of it all working together.

Picked up this spare tire lock for my spare I'd I mount it in the bed instead of underneath. I think I could use it for a underneath one as well if I got creative.

I used the same paint the body shop used on my interior. Jut mix it all together and used a syringe to apply while it's laying flat. It turned out nicer than I thought.
