I think its a Strange racing master cylinder! It was on the truck. The truck has 4 wheel drag race disc.

Let me try a few of the pointers then i'll share!

DJ.... also can see how your rear is setup using a "modified" trailing arm type setup.

VERY NICE ..... and from what I have seen of your C10's runs down the 1/4 mile VERY EFFECTIVE.

If you have any more detailed pics I would appreciate seeing them.

I am just starting my plans/project to do a PRO STREET '70 C10 swb Stepside..... any & all suggestions appreciated.

Thanks, John

I didn't notice you were local. I can hear the track from my house, might have heard you make a pass. I'll be taking my boys soon, I'll be looking for your truck.

Man what a Super Chevy weekend! I had to Dj a wedding last night so I let my buddy Scooter race my truck yesterday. He had never run a delay box and trans brake but had a blast anyway. Now maybe he'll put his 67 together. I have run so much heads up stuff lately that I had to change a bunch of stuff to fix it for bracket racing. I ran pro and dot. I went out early in pro. I got to run my first 1/4 mile bracket race in the dot class. I loved it! I actually got real lucky and made it to the final where I redlighted but I got a nice placque and a little cheese!

It was a bad racing weekend! 3 blown trailer tires and a blown race truck motor!

Re: Its Mine the World Famous 67 Dragtruck

Ouch...Kevin what happened to the bullet? Is it fixable...or is it an anchor.

I'm installing a 200 shot and a chute...:)

djracer 06-29-2008 07:44 PM

Re: Its Mine the World Famous 67 Dragtruck

Its an anchor I'm afraid! I think it broke a rod but I don't have it out yet. I have been too busy fighting with trailer tires. If I had not had the last blowout I would have pulled the motor!

Are you going plate or fogger? I may sell my fogger to help on a new block purchase.

Sorry to hear about the demise of the motor Kevin. Any post-mortem yet? You know everyone loves pictures of death and destruction ;) Were you were hitting it with a 250 shot when it went away???

I made 2 nos passes everything seemed fine. Then I made a pass on the motor in the bracket race had a .006 light and about 400ft I had a violent shutter and I pulled it over to the wall. I'll try to get it out tonight!
