To start off, sweet build!!! The HULK will be amazing when done. I have a question. How much does the cab filler run? I checked scotts hotrods web site but didn't see it listed. That totally changes the look of the truck and smoothes the lines.

the corvette filter/reg is factory set to regulate the PSI at 58PSI...as for the PSI on the return side, it should never get above 15-20PSI, but probley more like around 5 PSI..

Re: project INCREDIBLE HULK 6.2L with 6L80E

made a little progress....welded some studs on the back side of the rad. support cover, drilled some holes in the top of the rad support ( so the studs will go through)...so it can be bolted down, with no fastners being seen.....i also rolled the front edge of the rad cover to match the radius of the rad support.... and got some parts ready to be mocked up

Can't wait to see those gauges. Great work Short Step, great work, you show lots of patients and imagination. Again great work.

I have admit, I would have pulled my hair out (what hair I have left) with all those wires.

Beautiful craftsmanship. If I change my mind, and decide to keep the EFI on the brand new LY6 I just bought (planning no doing the carb'd intake/MSD 6LS solution with an aftermarket cam, gear and chain to lock out the VVT), I may need to enlist your aid in the wiring/ecm/tune area. Especially if I were to score a 6L80e for it and want to keep the VVT.

Re: project INCREDIBLE HULK 6.2L with 6L80E

Yeah, I'd love to have a 6L80E to slide in place of my 4L80E.
Let us know what you have to do to make it work correctly.

With all of you builds what do you do for a fuel tank vent??? My truck will be in the garage for alot of the time.. Do you just vent it to the air..

Re: project INCREDIBLE HULK 6.2L with 6L80E

got some progress to report....like said earlier, welded some studs to the back side of rad support cover, so the fastners would be hidden...then broke out the new howe radiator, and electric fan....had to remove one side rad. rubber isolator cup and move it over to mount this radiator....to move the cup over i had to cut a piece of the core support out and fab up a new 'raised lip' for the cup to sit on...then welded it all in...once the lower cups were the right width to hold the rad. i made some simple tabs for supporting the top of the radiator....once the rad. was hard mounted, i did some measureing (and re-measureing ) for the rad. cover... it came out well....the lower out let of the rad. is at a angle, and the studs going in the top are paralell to the rad. support, so i had to make the lower hole on the rad. cover more of a ovel due to all the factors (hope that makes sence).....it all went together as planed, and looks good....then i located the electric fan and mounted it to the rad, and again cut the hole in the cover for that too...there will be some flaps added for higher speed air flow too...
