My brother called about 20 minutes ago and he said they are starting to turn cars away, that means there is about 600 cars there already.

I didn't get alot done but did get more of the harness done. I do have a few pics but I cant upload from my phone. So....I said my goal was for the engine to crank by Nov 8th with the key. She cranked tonite. Ran jumper cables from my truck to my starter cable then to ground. I got all sorts of small puffs of smoke from things trying to ground out due to lack of ground wires from motor, cab, and frame. Finally figured it out and ran a wire from body bolt on the can to the frame and to the engine. Voila!!! I got 12v everywhere now!!! Tata. Lol. My headlight switch has a little hesitation in it so I might replace it with a repop. Plugged in the cluster....got a few bad bulbs, guess its a sign for the blue ones David!!! High/low beam floor switch works and so does the highbeam indicator light on the cluster. One thing that was cool is my lights for my streetbike are the same for my truck....I guess I fell asleep when I was typing this cause its still open. Hahaha. I was tired...anyways ill post a few pics as soon as I can. I did get her to crank but with 15' cables, its kinda hard. Romp Romp click click.. Lmao

Congrats Chris!!!! Glad to hear she cranked! And definitely blue LED's. That really looks cool at night. Drove my truck around the hood Halloween night trying to run kids over who were trick or treating.........it's really easy to get them under the front bumper when I have my bags airred up all the way.

Did you not align everything before paint? It would have been very easy to keep track of where all the shims went and how many went where? Or do you just need another set of eyes?

Honestly. Both. I never had shims cause I bought everything seperate. And eyes and someone that knows how to align. I'm stumped. I can't get the passenger door or hood

:haha: That sounds like me! I gotta do a tool round up about every other time I go to work on something!
Good job on the progress the gauges look good. I'm starting on my gauges right now. Mine'll be like yours white face with blue LED's when I'm done. I'm putting in a new lense with matching black numbering/lettering though. Have you seen those?

Re: My 68 swb build.

That's cool. I didn't notice till you said something. I'd try contacting them. I'm sure they could make it for you. Wouldn't think it'd be that hard to add an Air Pressure spot to the normal setup. Or Vacuum for that matter for those who have that gauge there. Good luck and again nice progress! :metal:
