Congrats on the award! Saw Kenneth's postings on FB over the weekend, was the input shaft you broke a billet one or anything special? Strange how clean it broke.

Sorry I didn't answer the question. It was a stocker believe it or not. First one I've ever broken. The guy that loaned me the clamp to pack the drum said it showed evidence of being cracked for awhile. It takes a good shock coming out of the burnout and it hits high gear pretty hard. I'm not sure how many runs were on it but I cant complain.

Thanks Monty. I have to talk to National Dragster today for the Featured Flyer write up. Hopefully it turns out good. One of the last ones they did I counted over 500 words in it. I've been working on it since yesterday. It's easy for me to tell my story but I don't think they want 2000 words though. lol

Hotrod80 met up with us this weekend at Evadale Raceway where he was track champ this year. I made one throttle stop pass then tried turning it loose. Ran 155 on the stop. First attempt at w/o I instantly hit second gear coming off the brake. 1.32 60 ft, 5.50 @ 129.91 in the 1/8 and 8.59 @ only 148 lifting early. Next pass it hiked the frontend high and went towards the wall. I nearly messed up. I adjusted the 4 link and went back. It left hard and fairly straight. 1.27 60 ft on the back tires, short shifted 3rd like a dummy and was 5.47 @ 128 in the 1/8. Lifted early again and was 8.60 @ only 148 again. It had an 8.40 something at nearly 160 in it. I had to put it up becuase the dew was starting to fall. Thanks again for the help Raylo. Thanks Karl, It was fun for sure. When the dew fell I was like a little kid that had to put his toys away. Man I wanted another good hit. Who knows when I'll get to do that again. We start racing in February and I have to start getting ready for Super Street.
