Re: project bagged 63 c10
Ok so it's been a while since I have had an update while others are jamming out and driving theirs already.....time to get back on her and get some things crossed off my list. Started making a mounting bracket for my gas tank out of my old bed rails collecting some goodies. Put my rear end back in http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q...ps9f0b5be3.jpg

Re: project bagged 63 c10
Here are some more updates
http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q...ps0bd90b67.jpg Found a steering column that needed an ignition with the wheel cheap! Wheel will work for the look I'm going for. Did some trimming to make it fit how I liked and couldn't find my bracket to hold my column to the firewall anywhere so I found one from a 72 that I trimmed to work http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q...psc5147f4c.jpg Little slice here and there and this is what's left of both brackets just have to do a little welding on one of the brackets and it is a really nice fit and I was ably to bring the column closer to the dash http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q...ps1a54372c.jpg http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q...ps02248eab.jpg http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q...ps5b8cab04.jpg http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q...psdaafc3ef.jpg http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q...psa78d4f06.jpg http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q...ps38ed2f07.jpg Big difference http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q...ps6b5fed11.jpg http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q...psdd45f6f3.jpg http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q...psb9d9679d.jpg http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q...pseb144af6.jpg The mini helped with the final bolts and have her approval:lol: Will post more later.... |

Re: project bagged 63 c10
So parts just seem to be surfacing for me....not that I am complaining:metal:
As posted above I jumped on the brothers oct savings band wagon and bought some much needed or I should say desired goodies. The radiator I bought is for our trucks however the motor I installed is not l...for those of you that are just checking out my build for the first time...I am running a buick 350 motor and trans. On my new radiator the upper and lower hoses are different sizes larger on the bottom and am having a hell of a time trying to figure out hoses on my motor the hoses are the same size. Any suggestions? Part #s you have used with this radiator. Thanks in advance |

Re: project bagged 63 c10
Couple more updates....
More wall art....trying to get ready for the winter....hoping to talk my neighbor into using some of his side of the garage for some extra working space this winter as my project and pile of parts keeps growing. So then I'll start hangin some stuff up....been looking for a cool frame for my rendering by ta2don. And some other cool stuff I've been collecting.... http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q...pse1d577d3.jpg I've been wanting a matching chrome front bumper for this truck for 14 yrs or so:lol: It cool to be rebuilding this truck and do things I didn't know how to do back then...or even a year ago actually. Just about everything I have done to my truck I learned on this site...thanks again everyone for sharing and being able to make "Dreams Into Reality" http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q...ps05fbbfa3.jpg http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q...pscaa96225.jpg http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q...ps25c8ea7a.jpg http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q...ps6d185a19.jpg |
Re: project bagged 63 c10
And as mentioned before I really love how comfy my caddy seats are have been keeping my eye out for a set and grabbed the console first and hated the corolla seats so I went back for the seats and scored them cheap!!!! Just going to have my dad redo them in the colors I want so you can see his magic....everyone says I'm a younger version of him. These seats fit really well in here and are fully powered with heat, lumbar, which help with my bad back, and adj seatbelts built in that clear the corners nicely.and the center console is my favorite part it gives me two compartments, armrest, cup holders and a seat with a seatbelt for my baby girl.
