I bet it won't be too long. You are always working on your trucks.

Well, since you got it apart, the 2 tone could fit the 496. ;)

Hey guys! Well Crustine has been taking all my money so I haven't gotten anything for the 66 lately. But, thanks to Sean(sdwolff98) I was able to score some GMC door and cab trim. :metal: I'll be using the door trim for the 66 and the left over trim will probably be put on the GMC somewhere. lol Plan is to use the door trim...and then have the chevy custom cab badge behind the trim. Well that's all for now guys. See ya! :chevy:

Had today off of work(YEEEHAW). Pulled the donor cab off the frame of my 64 today. Hoping to start some tear down tomorrow and Maybe start the little bit of body work it needs. Weather is to cold to paint now so that's out of the picture. See ya! :chevy:

The frame and engine is looking really good. The cab looks good too, mine had lots of extra hole drilled in floor and firewall. Weld, weld and more welding them up. Needed two people for some to hold 100% copper plate on back of weld.

The saws look good too, I just have a little "Farm Tough" maybe baby 22" bar. Yours would scare mine!

Well...still no big updates. Today I pulled the frame out of the shop for the 1st time since like October of last year. lol Amazing how time flies....anyhow....Trying to save up money so I can order paint and body work supplies as it looks like that is what this year will consist of. I'm getting excited for the better weather to show up! Oh yeah...and school being out and full time work which means bigger pay checks which means more money for parts! :metal: So today I washed the frame off...looks better without an inch of dust...and installed the steering gear box(2nd pic). Spring time is coming guys! :chevy:

sometimes just gettin' her out and cleaning her up is progress. kinda motivates the next phase... if your next phase is paint and body, hang in there, its a long and slow ride... but you can do it.
