Re: My 93 Crewcab Build
See the difference in the frame on where it bends, i think it will be better in the long run especially if i haul with it.

Re: My 93 Crewcab Build
Got the frame buttoned up yesterday, i still need to put the lowering kit on the rear to level it out.
http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/k...609_175550.jpg |
Re: My 93 Crewcab Build
So you already have your lowering kit? I finally got a 2 piece drive shaft out the scarp yard. For my truck it came out a extended cab long bed the big boy. It was bent but I have to have it shortened anyway so I will do I have to figure out what I am gonna do about a cross member they dont let you bring air tools out there smh

Frame done and rear lowering kit on
http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/k...615_181816.jpg http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/k...615_175254.jpg Rear is a couple inches lower than the front and not sure if the 1 ton frame up front is a bit different and making it sit higher or what.. going to raise the rear up a bit but it is close to sitting level. |
Re: My 93 Crewcab Build

Re: My 93 Crewcab Build
Thanks ;)
Hope to get teh fuel tank in it and figure out why its higher on the passenger front (hoping a spring is not in the cup right) |
Re: My 93 Crewcab Build

Did get the tank in it and started up again. It smoked the first time i started it a few weeks back and was beginning to worry me a bit but the tank in the frame had fresh fuel in it and it purred like a kitten for the 30 min i let it run and no problems. It is lower in the rear and im thinking about flipping the hangers to raise it a bit verses lowering the front more and not being able to haul anything.. |
Re: My 93 Crewcab Build
Well i flipped the hangers and raised it up a bit and now it looks a lot better. The rear of the frame was tweaked i guess from the wreck on the donor frame so i put it on the trailer and used the winch to pull it down then heated a part that was bad and pulled it back to shape ;)
So ready to get it driving! :metal: Before http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/k...708_130343.jpg After http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/k...719_184758.jpg |
