Yes lots of aftermarket stroker kits.
454 bored .060, add a 4.25 in stroke crank with some 6.385 rods = 496 BIG CUBES Rode in a few of these monsters. :smoke: |

Yep, bone stock TBI. I put new pump / meters in each tank, changed the fuel filter because it was plugged and have had no trouble. The TBI that's on it was off a 1993 454 simply because it had 83k miles and the one on my truck had 487k, yes almost half a million miles when I bought it. Of course with these heads it runs out of steam about 5000 then again so does the TBI system. The picture on the right was what it looked like the day I bought it. The cam is pretty small for this engine but then again it needs to be in order to move that barge down the road. Basically I tried to build a copy of GM's HT502 but on a budget...

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs
its a 350/4l80e/205 4.11's in the 60/14 bolt, NWF crossover and a new 8" skyjacker front front/ 6" tuff country rear springs. the truck was a ex highways truck in the Kamloops/Ashcroft area so it has next to no rust, lots of dents though. I have some 4.56 diffs I may throw in with lockers next year.

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs
yeah, 4:56's would work real nice with your 4l80e.
go 5 liter hunting then:lol: with the t400 in mine, they rev right up on the freeway though you'll like your skyjackers, been running mine for 'bout 8 yrs, no sag or probs. kamloops employees were pretty lucky back in the day, thats where my crew orig came from, same thing, no rust at all, but lots of guvment accessory holes |
