235 55Z17 front; 255 60R17 back. Very tight fit in back! Floor to front fender lip is 26"; floor to rear fender lip is 24 3/4". Z'd the frame 4" front and 4" rear + 3" drop springs and inverted track arm brackets on rear. Worked out very nice with a great ride.

Here's my '66 half-ton stepside.

Except for a few relatively minor details, I'm calling this one done. Dragged it in a couple of years ago - no engine, no transmission, with 45 years of accumulated gunk underneath. Cleaned it up a bit, new suspension, air bags, drop spindles, power disc brakes, power steering, under-bed fuel tank.

The previous owner had the stock seat modified to clear the 4-speed shifter that he had in there.

Pick of my 64 long box at the Port Huron car cruise a few years ago.

292 l6, 4 speed w/ creeper.

Your truck looks nice.
You say it's a 64?
The emblems for the 64 are usually on the fender.
Yours are in the 65 location.

Thanks.
It is a "Johnny Cash" special.

The cab is a 64, the front clip is a 65, and the box is a 60 at least according to the tail light lenses.

also, hard to spot in these pics, the emblems are 3/4 ton (20) badges...however I have 6 lug 1/2 ton running gear. The front clip was from a 3/4 ton and the rest is 1/2.

Were the emblems for the 64 on the fender?
