I can play this game!

I'll show the old truck pics in this post and others that may be of interest in the next post.

Pictures 1 and 2: New 1969 CST/20 and camper the week after purchase fall of 1969 near Big Bear, CA. Still have both. Note the dealer tag still on the front.

Picture 3: Joshua Tree Natl. Park near Palm Springs 1970.

Picture 4: Same camper on 1986 Silverado dually 4X4 in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan near Copper Harbor in 1987.

My mother standing by a 69 Dodge Super Bee. My father loved that car. I remember telling him to *dig a hole Daddy*. My way of telling him to do a burn-out!

My great grand parents with their daughter (my grand mother). Talk about an old picture! I have no idea what kind of car that was my great grand mother was standing beside.

Was curious so I did a little Google maps investigating... the Bret Harte Inn is now a retirement home. It amazes me how similar the block still looks.

I put together a photo album for our hunting camp in Northern PA and thought these couple were appropriate for this thread. Original camp was built in 1950, burned in 1990 (arson) and rebuilt.

Here's my Dad's 64 he had before I was born. He always says that truck was the real reason my mother was attracted to him. (In case the hair and bell bottoms weren't enough)
He said he lent it to his little brother once and forgot to tell him to keep an eye on the oil and it ended up with a siezed motor. (Straight 6) So they took the cylinder head off, put a bunch of oil or grease in the cylinders and pulled the truck down the road, popped the clutch and un-siezed the motor! He said it ran just fine after that. These pictures were in our family album as long as I can remember and I remember always flipping the album open to these two pictures just to look at the truck. I always thought this body style was super mean looking and I was hooked!
