I think I'm going to go with Scottshotrods under the dash mount for my brake stuff.;) I need a 7" booster, double vette style MC and valve for disk/disk.

Re: Daverods 52

Re: Daverods 52
I don't hate him, he's just weird. Did you talk to him? He has a funny voice when he talks to people, but that's not his real voice. :uhmk::lol:
From the San Fernando Valley (Reseda) to Santa Barbara was my area when I worked for Snap On Diagnostic. Ventura and Oxnard was right in the middle. |
Re: Daverods 52
I just talked to him on email. Did'nt notice anything weird.:lol: I did hear him on TV once though.:lol: I did'nt know he had two voices. That is weird.:sumo: Maybe I'll get my mount from some other place.:smoke:

:metal:that is without a dought the most unique firewall I've ever seen

Re: Daverods 52
Picked up a EZ harness from ebay. Went with Scotts under dash mount, booster, MC and valve. Only cost about a bill more than the frame mounted kind. I think it will save me a lot of headaches.

Re: Daverods 52
I used the EZ Wire kit for pickups, found it very easy to install.. just follow the directions, One wire at a time, take your time, and solder all connections and cover with shrink tubing. Makes it almost bullet proof..
I went with the firewall mounting booster and have been very happy with it. Felt that there wasn't enough room under the dash and wanted to get it up from the frame... Ordered my conversion from IC Industrial Chassic in AZ, Steve great guy to work with and really into trucks.. Also got a kit to put a 95 Dodge Dakota front end under my truck without cutting the frame. 12" disk brakes, power rack and pinon stearing, and A arms. If I ever need parts just go to the dodge dealer and order. |
Re: Daverods 52

Done.:lol: If it was only that easy. I knew I would'nt be the only one to have a underdash booster.

Re: Daverods 52
Slick! Question, how do you add more/check brake fluid after you get everything back on the dash?
