Re: my 80 build

Did you get your motor through LKQ? Do they work with you on pricing or is it firm? That's where I'm thinking of getting mine from.

I got it from bow auto in New Hampshire

well I got my transmission but the pan is full of metal so I'll send it back Monday and see what happens and also I have another problem my fly wheel has a 3 bolt pattern and the torque converter is a 6 bolt

Re: my 80 build

950 sounds a little high for the 4l80E. If they don't come through, call Robert at RCS in Tyler. 1.800.259.4020. They deliver here daily.

it ended up be over 1200 with the core and taxes so, if I have any trouble sending trans back and getting one that doesn't have a pan full of metal I'll send it back and give them a call

Re: my 80 build

well it looks like I need to get a fly wheel and spacer from a 6.0 that came with 4l80, then I need to get a arp crank pulley bolt and torque converter bolts, when I get another trans I'll check the pan if good then a new filter which I do have, degrease the trans and bolt it to up to the motor, mock up to the trans cross member and install the valve springs and bolt up the accessories

Re: my 80 build

I yanked out the passenger side floor pan cover panel, and I going to replace it with a weld in floor pan, I ordered both sides from capt and also ordered a arp crank pulley bolt and torque converter bolts
