Original 4x4, but the T221 is the only original part of the drivetrain.

Here's mine:

http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y76...n/P1010527.jpg

Was my daily driver from 1986 to 2000 when my wife bugged me that I needed a new truck for my contractor's business. Kept it parked and now(2 Dodge Rams later) I hope to put it back to use.

Since I'm here I'm about to post a thread asking for advice on adding '70-'87 integral power steering. Figure that the more places that I ask, the more likely I am to get an answer.

Wow! what a cool looking 4x4 burb, If possible please share some interior photos especially the dash area. Great to see it used as a daily driver for so long too, looking forward to hearing how you make out with the power steering upgrade. Thanks for sharing!

I'll get some other pics up soon. Weather not cooperating right now. Some back history on my truck. Wife and I had been to Baja two years running in an '78 VW Scirocco. 10 gal of H2O, 5 gal can of gas, camping gear, ice chest(lots of beer), food and two Australian Shepherds in a little VW. So I started looking for something more appropriate. Found a '70's Dodge Quadravan(pathfinder) on a lot in San Jose. When I tried to smog it all the emissions equipment was missing. Went back to the dealer. When he returned the truck all the equipment was wired on and it went from 12-14 MPG to about 7. That wouldn't do. Dealers are never allowed to sell a vehicle which has not been smogged. I knew it and so did he. Ended up with a cashier's check for my purchase price plus everything that I had spent on it even gas. At the advice of a local shop I was hunting for a '67-'72 4WD Suburban when I saw this for sale in a gas station in Walnut Creek. Guy wanted $3700. Didn't dicker just told him about the check and asked how to pay. Wish I had pictures of it then. Looked new. By the way I'm in Crockett near Vallejo. We're practically neighbors.

Thanks Johnny Burban, it's a fun rig. Can't say that I've ever seen your rig around in WA. I go to many of the shows, but can't make them all. Figured I'd have seen that nice of a burb at a show or two. :)

Cheers!

Right now it is installing your brake clutch mount.
New 25 gal. tank.
Replace the 6 with a 283 .60 over and some goodies.

Make it legal for the Danish "DMV".
Including side blinkers and what ever else they have.

In time I have new seats would like to do the interior with dynamat and insulate then carpet all on hand just need the time.
Paint at some time way in the future ( wife is pissed at all the money it took just to get it here and pay for the import tax and sales tax).

It is in fantastic shape!
Looks like everything is original and kept up very nice.
Brakes great even the E-brake holds.
drives straight shifts perfect.
Both lower fenders in front as usual driverside outside skin most of the way back and that is just about it.
Rubber is in good shape but needs a windshield got most all of the rubber new anyway

The shipping company was rough on it though, used a forklift all over the place on it flatened the rusted exhaust scratched just about everything underneath, squished the tank lucky I already planed on the new one.
