I'd love to see the spec-sheet on this one.....
'63 LCF with the Toro-Flow Diesel, Air Brakes and Big Glass...
I'm sure there are a few more options on that one.

After a closer look....it's a gasser....with the "big mutha" tank option.

This was on GMC ' s Facebook page.

"The 1962 GMC Model 1000 ½-Ton Pickup had enough power to handle some of the hardest jobs. What do you think of this vintage classic?‪#‎TBT‬"

i think when folks see more "company" ads ot will spark interest, i like the twotone bed. not a fleetside owner, but i would rock that

Re: Nostalgia - Pics in Time.

yeah the two tone beds look great. A 60or 61 GMC either truck or 'Burban is next on my project list. If truck then yeah I'm doing the two tone bed

Two fer one. Hard to see the other but it's 63 and prior and you can only see the roof and windshield. Just behind the little red willy's rod. Nice promo drag racer though.

Re: Nostalgia - Pics in Time.

There's also a white one at about 10 O'clock with a guy siting on the roof.

That's the one I was describing. The red one is in plain sight. All in all not a bad promo setup huh Cap'n?

This is why I love this forum. Not only can you get all the info for your own build but all the cool stuff you cant find anywhere else.

This one is in my neighbors ditch. I have just made a deal to own it. What there is left, hood, door shells. Cab is pretty much a goner but I know there are people looking for the hood that they swapped out for a later model years ago.

Re: Nostalgia - Pics in Time.

Does it have the side door trim? I could use both sides from a 60 or 61?

66BigBackWindow 06-04-2014 05:43 PM

Re: Nostalgia - Pics in Time.

I do not think there is any trim left on the doors. Much of the cab is empty as well.

I posted these up a while back, but thought that since this thread pops to the top periodically, thought this might be a good place to put it up again for those who missed it. found these when renovating my house here in Colorado. I think these are from around 1969
